Sculpture Association Displayed Daily During
Dallas Blooms
|
During
Dallas Blooms: The Star of Texas, the Dallas
Arboretum will help celebrate the 25th
Anniversary of the Texas Sculpture Association
by displaying unique sculptural art by 21
artists from around the state. The Texas
Sculpture Association is a non-profit,
volunteer-run visual arts organization, and has
been a state-wide resource for sculptors since
1983. Its goal is to promote sculptural art by
sharing sculptor’s vision with the public to
observe and purchase, educate and demonstrate
the various media of sculpture to the public,
and to provide a resource and networking
community for sculptors. Many of the sculptures
in the gardens will be for private sale with the
artist. A visitor wishing to purchase the piece
of art in the gardens may contact the artist
directly or through the Texas Sculpture
Association.
The Texas Sculpture Display will be held daily
at the old ticket booth located near the front
of the garden.
