Activities: Heritage Garden at the Depot east of Main Street; annual Heirloom Plant Sale with proceeds providing scholarships for high-school seniors studying horticulture, forestry or related subjects.

 Greater Fort Worth Herb Society:  This group educates its members about herbs and publishes a newsletter with tips and ideas for members.  Meetings are held at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., Fort Worth. 
Activities: Herbal field trips, participation in Imagination Celebration, care and management of the Pioneer Herb Garden in the Fort Worth Log Cabin Village, and an annual herb festival in May.
