The Arboretum is pleased to bring
back the popular AT&T Senior Citizens Thursdays with a $7.50 admission
price for those 65 and older and as an added bonus the Arboretum will
extend a 20% discount in the Hoffman Family gift shop.
The Dallas Arboretum is a beautiful place to visit any

Dining at the Dallas Arboretum:
Picnics are always encouraged at the Arboretum
but there are two restaurants available for you. The Lula Mae Slaughter
Dining Terrace is open from 9:00am-4:00pm and serves fresh salads,
sandwiches, wraps and breakfast. The DeGolyer Garden Cafe is open from
10:00am – 2:00pm for lunch and serves salads, warm entrees and desserts.

Do you have a group that would like to learn more
about the Dallas Arboretum? Kathleen Cunningham is the Director of the
Dallas Arboretum’s Speaker’s Bureau. Along with volunteers, she spends
time offering entertaining presentations to groups of all sizes. All
presentations can be adapted to fit the length of time your program
requires. For more information, call 214-662-1982.
The Hoffman Family gift shop is fully stocked with all
kinds of wonderful, decorative accents for your home, garden or loved
ones. You can even shop late during festivals with extended hours until
6:00pm. Remember to ask for a senior discount of 20% if you visit on a
Thursday.
The Dallas Arboretum is handicap accessible with up
front handicap parking spaces, wheelchair ramps to most areas in the
gardens and there are a limited number of wheelchairs available in the
plaza so that more guests may enjoy our lovely gardens.
