A day of adventure and fun designed for boy and girl scouts.  In addition to visiting our beautiful gardens, you can:

  • Enjoy the Amazing Chocolate Tree national exhibition where you'll learn everything from the pollination process of the tree's tiny flower, to the steps to transform the cacao seed into the tasty treat we all know and love.

  • Go on a bronze wildlife hunt.

  • Enjoy a scavenger hunt through the gardens.

  • Visit our 2 1/2 acre, award winning Texas Pioneer Adventure exhibit and Texas Town.

  • Have a picnic in our lakeside picnic area -- RESERVED JUST FOR SCOUT OUT!

  • Visit the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch and enjoy the hay bale maze.

  • For Girl Scout and Cub Scout activities during your visit, rent one of our Scout Backpacks for an additional $4 per scout (minimum of 4 scouts).
