Concerts at the Dallas Arboretum are a long-standing tradition in Dallas with the beautiful garden scenery overlooking White Rock Lake and the award-winning Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn.
The information below should help you understand what you may need to know before attending a concert at the Dallas Arboretum.
Show Times
Concerts in the Fall will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Gates open at 6pm for all concerts. Please note: Once the concert begins the garden is officially closed and all concert guests are asked to remain at the concert lawn. Parents are asked to have their children remain with them at all times.
Purchasing Tickets/Season Passes
Tickets and season passes to concerts may be purchased at http://www.dallasarboretum.org/concerts.html, over the phone at 214-515-6518 or at the main ticket booth.
- Individual members of the Dallas Arboretum are able to purchase up to 2 tickets at the member rate.
- Family level members and above are able to purchase up to 6 tickets at the member rate.
- Tickets purchased on the website and over the phone will have a $2 processing fee attached to each order, not each ticket. Tickets purchased the night of the concert after 5pm at the main ticket booth will have an increased $2 fee per ticket.
- Important: tickets purchased over the phone or on the website receive a confirmation email that will act as the tickets when printed. Please make sure to bring a print out of the email for admission to the concert.
- Group tickets may be purchased by calling 214-515-6518. A group is defined as 20 or more people.
- Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for another concert in the same year of purchase. Exchanges may be made by calling 214-515-6518 and must be done before the concert you planned to attend.
Food and Beverages
You are permitted to bring in picnic baskets, coolers (we recommend ones with wheels), any outside food and alcohol (all containers are allowed). Food items are available for purchase near the concert lawn. DPD are on location so we ask that everyone drink wisely. Alcohol is not available for sale.
Parking
You are welcome to park for free in the Main Parking Lot of the Dallas Arboretum.
- There is a walk from the main entrance to the stage, so we suggest wearing walking shoes and bringing a cooler that has wheels. Trams are not available concert evenings.
- If you need to drop someone off or unload your supplies, please do so by pulling into the first row of the parking lot. Please do not unload your vehicles in the traffic lane. A ramp is located to the right of the stairs by the handicap parking spaces.
- Parking is very limited - we appreciate carpooling!
Special Needs
Handicap parking is available on a first-come basis. Please notify a parking attendant if you have a handicap tag and they will direct you to a priority spot. There is a long walk from the main entrance to the concert lawn and wheelchairs are available upon request. Please notify a staff person as you walk through the ticket booth if you need extra assistance. You may also call the concert hotline if you have any questions at 214-515-6518.
Will Call
If you have additional tickets for parties coming in separate vehicles you can leave any additional tickets at the Will Call lane. Just show the attendant your original print out/tickets and leave your guests name with the attendant.
Seating
All tickets are general admission on the Martin Rutchik Concert Lawn. Blankets are welcome. For the enjoyment of all concert attendees you are encouraged to bring in low-to-the-ground chairs that sit no more than 4 inches off of the ground. All other outdoor chairs must sit to the side or back of the concert lawn.

If it is moved indoors you are still welcome to bring in coolers and low-to-the-ground chairs. Limited seating will be available.

Smoking is not permitted on the concert lawn or near the restrooms near the top of the concert lawn. As a respect to other guests, please smoke in a remote area at least 100 ft. away from buildings.
