Grab your wagons because it is time for the Arboretum’s annual spring plant sale! This is your chance to buy hard-to-find plants from our trial program and unique plants that we use in our seasonal displays!

Lone Star Greats! Tough Texas Plants
This class is a must for anyone who gardens in Texas! Jimmy Turner, Senior Director of Horticulture, will share results from all of his hard work in the Trial Garden and tell you which plants will do best in your North Texas garden! All participants will be able to attend the plant sale preview on Friday evening before the sale is open to the general public. Right after class, purchase plants for your garden that we have trialed at the Arboretum. The sale will have unique plants and hard to find varieties not available at most local nurseries. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about and purchase plants that will make your garden the talk of the neighborhood.

The sale is a first come first serve basis with a limited number of plants. Shop before the sale is open to the general public at the exclusive Members Only Plant Preview Sale on Friday, May 6 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Only Arboretum Members and those attending the "Lone Star Greats" Plant program will be able to shop at the preview event.

ANNUAL PLANT SALE
Open to the Public
Saturday, May 7, 9am - 3pm
The Plant Sale has items starting at $2 and the Dallas Arboretum's Horticulture staff will be on site to help with your selections. With over 23,000 plants for sale, including perennials, succulents and summer annuals, amateur gardeners and seasoned horticulturists alike will have the difficult task of deciding which plants they fancy the most. All shoppers are strongly encouraged to bring a wagon to transport their purchases to their cars.
For the best selection of plants that will grow well in your Texas garden be sure to shop early. All plants have been personally selected by our Senior Director of Horticulture,
Jimmy Turner. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions. The Plant Sale is located in the parking lot south of the Main Ticket Booth
