The Arboretum is the most beautiful place in the city to visit over the Memorial Day Weekend.
Colorful beds and attractive landscape design make the perfect background for picnics together, a memorable holiday visit or family photography.
- The Pecan Grove has been transformed into Peter Rabbit's Flower Village with stories of four characters outside each house and the live animals to match them on display from 10am -1 pm. Your children will love this special place.
- Eddie Coker, the ever-popular children's entertainer performs on Memorial Day at 11am and 2pm
- Free Children's Activity Books for discovery in the garden are available at the Information Desk
- A seven foot tall topiary rabbit, debuting Memorial Day weekend is the perfect setting for a picture of your child, so bring the camera
- Free Admission to active and retired Military with ID
- All weekend an Uncle Sam stilt walker will be available for pictures with your family
- All-American food will be available on the grounds such as bbq sandwiches, hot dogs, apple pie, pretzels and root beer floats

- Dining is available at the outdoor dining terrace at the Visitor Center or dining inside or under the loggia at the back of the DeGolyer House
