Children's Adventure Garden Volunteers
Volunteers are needed as gallery hosts for each of the 17 indoor and outdoor exhibits in the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden.
As a gallery host you will share excitement for the garden with our guests and guide them through the interactive exhibits. There are many positions available at the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden including the Information Booth and the OmniGlobe. The day is divided into two shifts; 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. Volunteers are needed seven days a week and can chose what day and shift works best for them. This is mostly outdoors with some inside opportunities. Training is required in most galleries.
Volunteers can also help in the Children’s Adventure Garden as one of our educational costumed characters. Betty the Bee, Eddie the Educated Eagle, and Stump the Tree roam the garden teaching guests about camouflage, pollination, and so much more! Volunteer shifts are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Training will be provided, but bring your enthusiasm for natural science and learning!
Other positions available in the Children's Adventure Garden include puppet show assistants, membership table help and more.
