Each week of Dallas Blooms “America the Beautiful” features a different region of the nation and celebrates the beauty and what makes each area unique. Visit the Dallas Blooms page for specific information and times.

Thirsty Thursday Blind Taste Test: Taste test beers from the featured region of Dallas Blooms, and try to figure out which beer is which. Compare them to the great local craft beers from the Metroplex. This week’s matchup includes Cigar City Jai Alai IPA vs. Manhattan Project Hoppenheimer West Coast IPA and Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan Brown Ale vs. Hop & Sting Sir William (3–4:30pm)

Horticulture Demonstration: The Best Herbs for North Central Texas. Herbs are easy to grow, make gardens smell wonderful and enhance culinary skills (11am in A Tasteful Place)

Mid-Atlantic Sandy Science: Participants will feel like they’re on a Mid-Atlantic coast as they explore the microscopic and physical properties of sand from actual Atlantic beaches. Please note that the Walne Family Discovery Lab is for ages 6 & up.
