Garden Guides
These volunteers play an important role in the guest experience by providing information and details about specific gardens at the Arboretum.
Garden Guides are positioned in a specific garden (such as the Lay Ornamental Garden, the Jonsson Color Garden, A Woman’s Garden or the Paseo) to welcome visitors and provide additional information about the garden. Guides provide insights about the history, symbolism, plantings, water features and sculptures in a particular garden. Hours are flexible and training is given.
We are also looking for Tour Guides to lead daily tours of the garden during festivals. This position requires some additional training.
