Holiday at the Arboretum

Holiday at the Arboretum returns with a garden transformed for the magic of the season including the return of our beloved Christmas Village, the 12 Days of Christmas and our Dazzling Musical Tree! We also invite you to visit our historic DeGolyer House, elaborately decorated by renowned designer Michael Hamilton, and featuring our new collection of nearly 600 nutcrackers amongst other classic Christmas themes.

Series of four classes for those in the early to middle stages of Dementia or Alzheimer’s. Pre-registration is required. $20 cost includes garden admission for participant and care partner, as well as parking for all four days – a value of over $200.

2024 Solar Eclipse
April 8, 2024
We are thrilled to announce the most celestial event of the decade, the Great American Eclipse, taking place at the Dallas Arboretum on April 8, 2024! This extraordinary event will feature a Total Solar Eclipse, where the moon will completely obscure the sun for nearly 4.5 minutes, beginning at 12:30 pm. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness this breathtaking phenomenon, and we have a stellar lineup of partners and activities to make it an unforgettable experience.
