In addition to free general garden admission and a variety of discounts, members are also invited to a number of exclusive events each year including Easter Egg Hunts, Goblins in the Garden, a trick-or-treating event, Garden of Music, a stroll through the gardens filled with the melodies of jazz, harp and guitar, and Sweets and Treats, a wintertime event that includes a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday stories, crafts and treats.

October New Member Breakfast

The new members breakfast is an invitation only event during which we formally welcome our newest members and take some time to help you understand all the benefits you can enjoy as a member.

Invitations are emailed to members who joined in the preceding three months; invitations will be sent and new members can start making reservations on September 15.

This event fills up quickly to make your reservations as soon as possible.

Goblins in the Garden

Wednesday October 25 – 5:30 p.m.

Dress up your children in their best Halloween costume and come for a night of trick-or-treating around the garden. Families will also enjoy the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village featuring more than 90,000 colorful pumpkins, gourds and squash. Price, $18 and includes spaghetti dinner in Rosine Hall, including garden salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage.

Four Chefs Under 40
Wednesday, October 18, 6 to 9 p.m.

To kick off membership and interest of our newest giving level, Growing Friends,a young professionals giving level for those age 21-40, we are pleased to host “Four Chefs Under Forty.”

This evening is part of a season of celebratory events to mark the opening of A Tasteful Place, Dallas’ newest year-round destination, an edible 3.5-acre $12 million display garden featuring fruits, vegetables and herbs alongside our floral favorites

. This foodie event will feature chef-prepared hors d’oeuvres and cocktails presented by the Four Under 40 chefs, along with live music. Chefs include Anatacia Quinones, Uno Immanivong, Daniel Pitman and Andrea Shackleford.

Our gracious Host Committee includes Growing Friends founding members Taylor and Richmond Collinsworth, Molly and Justin Cox, Kari and Troy Kloewer and Catherine and Blake Woodall. Tickets are $35 per person. Must purchase tickets by October 9.
