Girl Scout badge programs are the perfect weekend outing for your troop!
Scout Overnights
Girl Scouts will participate in Tree Trek, Texas Native Wetlands and OmniGlobe programs, as well as venture out on a flashlight night hike and stargaze with experienced Arboretum staff. Participants will learn how to make their own eco-pots to take home. Programming can be modified to include badges. A light evening snack and continental breakfast are included. Sleeping arrangements will be inside the Exploration Center, unless prior arrangements are approved. A 4-week in advance pre-registration is required.

Book a spring Girl Scout overnight (with a minimum of 20 scouts) by filling out the Badge Program Reservation Form below. Girl Scouts in the Garden Badge Programs
Reserve your Girl Scouts’ spots in a Dallas Arboretum Educator-led program! Programs align with the guideline requirements to help Scouts accomplish earn the corresponding Girl Scout badge, which can be purchased at your local GS shop. Troop leaders and chaperones are encouraged to join the fun and participate with their Scouts. At the close of the program, Scouts will receive a specially designed Dallas Arboretum fun patch, too! Girl Scouts in the Garden Badge Programs include a combination of educational content, hands-on activities and guided exploration in the garden. Choose from the options below to book a program. Minimum attendance of 15 required or a $250 minimum. No refunds except for class cancellations. Parents will be required to sign release forms for students to participate.
Daisies: Trail Adventures, Clover Petal: Use Resources Wisely, Rosie Petal: Make the World a Better Place, Space Science Explorer
Brownies: Painting, Household Elf, Potter, Bugs, Home Scientist, Senses, Space Science Adventurer
Juniors: Painting, Animal Habitat, Flower, Geocacher, Drawing, Gardener
Cadettes: Eating for You, Trees
