Volunteer at the Arboretum

Just as plants and humans are interdependent in nature, the Dallas Arboretum relies on the nurturing support of its volunteers to grow and thrive.

We Need You to Volunteer!

The Dallas Arboretum Volunteer team consists of over 4,000 volunteers who contribute close to 100,000 hours of service each year. We are one of the top volunteer sites in the nation and we simply could not do what we do without their dedication to service.  The Dallas Arboretum offers a variety of opportunities to let you share your talents and pursue your interests.

Please note that background checks are required for applicants who are ages 18+ to become a volunteer. Additionally, we are no longer accepting volunteers for court-ordered community service.
