Volunteer at the Arboretum
Just as plants and humans are interdependent in nature, the Dallas Arboretum relies on the nurturing support of its volunteers to grow and thrive.
We Need You to Volunteer!
The Dallas Arboretum Volunteer team consists of over 4,000 volunteers who contribute close to 100,000 hours of service each year. We are one of the top volunteer sites in the nation and we simply could not do what we do without their dedication to service. The Dallas Arboretum offers a variety of opportunities to let you share your talents and pursue your interests. See below for more details on each area of service that we offer.
We also invite high school and college students to join our leadership programs designed specifically to enhance their interpersonal and leadership skills as they prepare for their next steps. Service hours and other benefits are offered to participating Teen Leadership Council and Collegiate Leadership Council members. See below for more details on our TLC and CLC programs or ask for more information at volunteers@dallasarboretum.org or 214-515-6561.
Corporate and student groups up to 25 people are also welcome to volunteer in our Children’s Garden and during Holiday at the Arboretum. This is the perfect opportunity to volunteer as a group and we offer shifts 7 days a week between 9:00am-5:00pm.
There is truly a place for everyone. Reach out today to find out how you can help: Call 214.515.6561 or email volunteers@dallasarboretum.org
