  • July 6 Simply Succulents, the plants that drink responsibly - Learn all about succulent care and the best ways to keep these great plant thriving. Expand your knowledge and gain the confidence to expand your collection. Handouts will be provided. (Instructor: Paula Spletter, Dallas County Master Gardener and North Haven Gardens' resident expert on succulents)
  • July 20 Composting 101: Don't throw that away! Learn how waste products, otherwise destined for the landfill, can be converted into a material that benefits plant life and the environment. An overview of the most common, and some lesser-known, methods of creating compost will be provided. Instructor: Barry Bloom, Dallas County Master Gardener
