A Dallas Fall Tradition
Every autumn, the gardens come alive with one of Dallas’s most beloved seasonal traditions. More than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash fill the garden and this year, the Pumpkin Village embraces the theme Harvest Hues, reimagined through the lens of modern and contemporary artists including Basquiat, Rothko, Bourgeois, Mondrian, Escher, and Pollock.

Harvest Hues
Every autumn, the garden becomes a canvas. This year, it’s painted with more than 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash across its 66 acres, and the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village draws inspiration from modern and contemporary artists.
This year’s pumpkin houses are built in the spirit of Basquiat, Rothko, Bourgeois, Mondrian, Escher, and Pollock, joined by giant “Harvest Hues” letters painted by Dallas muralist Alli K.
