Want to learn a new skill, express your creativity, and give handmade gifts this holiday season? Iron Frog Press hosts an intro to relief printmaking. In this three-hour workshop, participants will learn composition considerations, transfer methods, basic carving techniques, and how to print an edition with a linoleum block. As a bonus, the team will show how these objects of fine art can be transformed into gifts and cards. All skill levels are welcome. We will provide participants with a choice of images to select from and all the materials to complete an edition of prints. Iron Frog Press is located in East Dallas and is dedicated to promoting, educating & advocating the virtues of printmaking. It was established in 2010 by Matt and Sharon Bagley. Matt has over 35 years of experience in making and exhibiting prints. His most important contribution to the printmaking world is the Print Frog® Glass Baren™. It has proven to be the most efficient, easy-to-use, versatile, durable, and comfortable printmaking tool available. It is the ideal teaching tool, and this is what Matt enjoys most about it.
