Join fellow members inside Rosine Hall as local artist Julia Stanger from Julia Stanger Studios leads this unique class featuring the art of mixed mediums. Participants will learn simple watercolor techniques to paint papers used for a backdrop as well as to create butterflies and 3D elements. Guests are welcome to bring ephemera, paper meaningful to them, to include within the pieces as well. Participants will learn assembly techniques and composition suggestions to create a 3D presentation. Each student will leave with at least one complete piece ready for framing.
