Hunt Slonem: Bunnies, Birds & Butterflies transforms the Dallas Arboretum into an immersive, open-air gallery. Throughout the garden, Slonem’s monumental sculptures emerge among the blooms, reimagining familiar pathways as moments of color, reflection, and movement.

Hunt Slonem
Hunt Slonem is an internationally recognized contemporary artist and neo-expressionist known for vivid color, layered texture, and imagery drawn from the natural world. His work is held in more than 250 museum collections worldwide, including the Met and the Smithsonian.
On Display
The exhibition features 37 installations and over 100 works presented throughout the garden, along with a curated gallery of works inside the Historic Camp House.

As the sun sets over the Dallas Arboretum, Hunt Slonem’s monumental sculptures take on a new life.
Fading light catches mirrored surfaces. Bold color deepens against the evening sky.
Specialty cocktails and bites available for purchase, plus music, set the tone for an evening that is equal parts art, nature, and pure Dallas. Perfect for date nights, private celebrations, and anyone who believes the best experiences happen after sunset.
