We are thrilled to announce the most celestial event of the decade, the Great American Eclipse, taking place at the Dallas Arboretum on April 8, 2024! This extraordinary event will feature a Total Solar Eclipse, where the moon will completely obscure the sun for nearly 4.5 minutes, beginning at 12:30 pm. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness this breathtaking phenomenon, and we have a stellar lineup of partners and activities to make it an unforgettable experience.
When you reserve your tickets, don’t forget to add on your eclipse viewing glasses, so you can safely marvel at this awe-inspiring event. Additionally, you can pre-order a custom eclipse poster designed by renowned astronomer Tyler Norgren, allowing you to commemorate this historic moment. Our esteemed partners, including the International Space Station National Laboratory, Limitless Space Institute, Big Kid Science, University of Colorado Boulder, National Solar Observatory, Story Time from Space, Science Time from Space, James Webb Space Telescope, Student Spaceflight Experiments Program, Voyage National Program, University of North Texas, and retired NASA Astronaut Alvin Drew, will be on hand to enhance your eclipse experience.
