Holiday Calligraphy

About This Event

Spend an inspiring evening learning the art of beautiful lettering! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the art of modern calligraphy using a pointed dip pen and ink. Over the course of 1.5 hours, you’ll master the basics of modern calligraphy, including how to hold your pen, all the basic strokes, and how to form beautiful letters.  At the end of class, we will put our new skills to work and create a beautifully lettered Christmas ornament!  Your registration includes a complete beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, a pot of black ink, lettering guides, tracing paper, and a straight pen holder), plus plenty of practice materials. All supplies are yours to take home so you can keep creating long after class ends! No experience needed—just come ready to create!
