“America the Beautiful”
Named by Southern Living as one of “The Best Places to See Stunning Spring Blooms Across the South,” the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden presents Dallas Blooms, the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest. Presented by IBERIABANK/First Horizon, the festival runs February 21 to April 11. With the theme “America the Beautiful,” the spring festival showcases an explosion of color from 100 varieties of spring bulbs and more than 500,000 spring-blooming blossoms, thousands of azaleas and hundreds of Japanese cherry trees. Each week, Dallas Blooms focuses on one of the six regions in the United States with food, music, flowers and special events.

Children’s activities including face painting by A Fresh Perspective, Country Critters Petting Zoo and Kindermusik at noon. Plus moms and caregivers can enjoy an outdoor stroller workout with Fit4Mom White Rock Dallas on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10am.
Tasteful Tuesdays Floral Demos

Ever wanted to learn how to make your own floral arrangement or how to pick the best flower from your grocery stores? Now you can! Come learn helpful tips from pros from Dallas’ local flower shops. Every Tuesday, a new floral demonstration will inspire you to step up our flower game.
Garden Scavenger Hunt Thursday
Every Thursday from February 25–April 8 • 10am–3pm
Pick up a scavenger hunt every Thursday at the Information Booth, and play as you stroll the garden. This is a great way to engage children during their visit to the garden or to do as a group with friends. Once you complete your scavenger hunt, turn your answers into the Main Information Booth for a free iced tea or brownie at the Terrace Café. Card must be picked up by 3pm in the Main Information Booth and redeemed on the same visit at the Terrace Café by 4pm prior to their closing for the day.
Thirsty Thursdays Blind Taste Test of Beers
Every Thursday from February 25–April 8 • 3–4:30pm
Each Thursday, taste test beers from our featured region of Dallas Blooms and try to figure out which beer is which, and compare to our great local craft beers from the Metroplex.
Learn to Grow Horticulture Presentation

Chef-tastic Cooking Series

Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn
Live music every weekend afternoon and select days. As guests stroll through the garden, enjoy live music by favorite musicians. Each week, the Dallas Arboretum features a specially curated regional playlist, created especially for the garden by John Salvie and Top Ten Records. Throughout the festival, there are also several school, choir, dance and musical groups that perform at various locations in the garden.

Kelley Family Days

People interested in exploring the Dallas Arboretum’s Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden will be able to do so for free on select days in 2021. Thanks to a gift from the William G. Kelley Family, guests paying for general garden admission will also receive free entrance to the Children’s Adventure Garden on designated days, called Kelley Family Days.
CC Young Senior Living Thursdays
Every Thursday • 9am–5pm
Seniors 65 and older get in for $13 general garden admission on Thursdays and receive a 20% discount in the Hoffman Family Gift Store.
