Effective May 1, when outdoors in the garden, face coverings are not required but still suggested when social distancing is not an option. Face coverings are still required for all indoor spaces with no exceptions. We are still requiring face coverings during the Cool Thursdays concerts, as well as for staff and volunteers. That policy does not change. Reservations required for members and nonmembers.

Sep. 19–Nov. 1, 2020

One of America’s Best Pumpkin Festivals”

 – Fodor’s Travel

Autumn at the Arboretum, presented by Reliant, highlights the 15th year of the nationally-acclaimed Pumpkin Village, sponsored by Oncor, featuring four 20-foot-tall decorated pumpkin houses and creative displays fashioned from more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. Held at the Dallas Arboretum, the favorite fall festival opens on September 19 and runs through November 1.

The Art of the Pumpkin

The popular festival features one of “the Best Fall Festivals to Celebrate the Season” (Country Living Magazine). “The Art of the Pumpkin” features breathtaking colors of fall including 150,000 autumn flowers accented by pumpkins, gourds and squash from Floydada, Texas. The festival includes the return of Mommy and Me Mondays, Tiny Tot Tuesdays, a hay bale maze, a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for purchase, music and more.

Autumn at the Arboretum

Guests can also visit A Tasteful Place, a 3.5-acre food, herb and vegetable garden. Weekly activities include free Monday cooking demonstrations with Dallas College Cooks along with other cooking, floral and horticulture demonstrations. Each weekend features live bands playing in the afternoon.
